Crawler
Shareglowbot
Shareglowbot is the user agent Shareglow sends when someone asks it to scan or preview a link. If it shows up in your server logs, this page explains what it does and how to stop it.
What it does
Shareglowbot fetches a public page only when a Shareglow user asks to scan or preview it. It is not a crawler that discovers pages on its own.
What it respects
It obeys robots.txt: if your robots.txt disallows a path for Shareglowbot, it does not fetch that page. The robots.txt token is Shareglowbot. It never submits forms and never logs in.
How to identify it
Its requests carry this user agent.
